Online Lessons

Hello online students!

I use my computer because it’s large and easy to see and type messages on the keyboard. Zoom can be used by you on any device, and it really is necessary for you to be set up where I can see your hands on the keyboard, or your left hand on the neck of your string instruments. I am also having trouble hearing the drums and bells with a normal microphone. I think that there is a volume measurement that keeps sounds at a certain level that won’t hurt the internal microphone. We need to do a sound check for some instruments before hoping that I will just naturally “hear” you 😊 Please be sure to have all your materials ready before you sign on, so we don’t have to knock things over to get them….I will be sending attachments in a weekly email for new songs and theory games for you to play. Please check for these and print them out before your lesson – or use your tablet if you can!

Thank you for using Zelle, Venmo, and Paypal Donations to pay for lessons. It’s working out well, and I appreciate that we can still keep music going through a strange time…Now you’ll have something to tell your Grandchildren!
